I am happy to say that IGreviews saw an uptick in new subscribers since November. Welcome abroad, newcomers! And thanks for subscribing, everyone. Please share this newsletter with any friends or family who might like it. Word of mouth is the best way for this substack to grow.
Speaking of growth, here is what you can look forward to in 2023.
Paid Subscriptions
Don’t panic. The Inverted Gentleman will still be a free newsletter. I am activating paid subscriptions for 2023 so that readers may support my work if they choose.
Here’s my pitch.
Whatever I make through paid subscriptions will be reinvested into the newsletter. Mostly that reinvestment will be in the form of time. Currently I work two jobs. If IGR generates enough revenue to replace my part time gig, I will devote more time to writing. That means better reviews, more in depth reviews and - possibly - more reviews per month.
Also, there may be investments in equipment, which brings me to the next topic.
Experimenting with Podcasting
In 2023 I plan to investigate and experiment with substack’s podcasting feature. My ideas on this subject are still in their infancy, so I won’t say much now. The initial publications will likely be me reading old posts.
New Layout
Some of you probably have already noticed the new layout of the website. Continuing throughout 2023 I will be tweaking things here and there.
