There was a little of that here. But I always felt the most interesting people are complicated and flawed. Take General Sherman for example. A hero to some but a villain to others. If not for that contradiction I wouldn't have read his memoir. Very good by the way.
I listen to Glen's podcast. It's really good. And as a fan I thought why not read it. Was not expecting how crazy his life was.
